First day of school ....

Many teachers today sacrifice their time to help children turn out to be Good adults.
I thank God for the teachers that can give and not teach for the money but for the love they give,I remember many teachers that had an impact on my life.Just an encouraging word sometimes is all they need.
13:7 There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches.
13:8 The ransom of a man's life are his riches: but the poor heareth not rebuke.
13:9 The light of the righteous rejoiceth: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.
13:10 Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.
13:11 Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.

Song of Solomon

Sundays devotion August 29.2010

What a beautiful book to start off a marriage as our Pastor was teaching this morning the world knows nothing about love.I dont understand how an unsaved person can make a wedding vow to to the person he marries when he knows nothing of love love is of God.
Song of Solomon 8:6 Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.
8:7 Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned.
8:8 We have a little sister, and she hath no breasts: what shall

I will be preaching this weekend for Pastor David Fink who pastors the Grace Baptist Church of Lockport, Illinois. He is doing a fabulous job and in fact they have had to go to two morning services to care for the crowds. He is a ex-Marine and I like this guy! He has a wonderful family who are all soul winners and faithful to our Lord!

FLYING TO CHICAGO
from Solve Church Problems by Dr. Bob Gray Sr.
Tonight I preached the sermon FIVE DAYS TOO LATE! This is an amazing story about the wonderful revival that God gave to Jonah and Nineveh. It was the greatest revival not only in the Bible but in the history of man. The Word of the Lord came to Jonah and the Lord told Jonah to go to the great city of Nineveh and cry against their sins. Nineveh was an idolatrous fish worshipping city. It was the capitol of a heathen nation but God called Jonah to go to Nineveh and preach. However, Jonah went the opposite direction and that is how we know he was a Baptist!

He went down to Joppa and there caught a ship to Tarshish and there was a turmoil on the ship. A storm hit them! They cast lots and found that it was Jonah's fault and Jonah was cast out of the boat. Jonah was swallowed by a giant fish and he lived in the belly of the fish for three days and three nights. Then the Bible says that the word of the Lord came to Jonah the second time. He then goes to Nineveh and preaches the greatest revival in history.

We talk about the 20 wasted years of Jacob, the 10 wasted years of Naomi in Moab, the 40 wasted years of the nation Israel, and we talk about Gomer's wasted years in the book of Hosea because of her awful sin. Yet, we are admonished in Psalm 92 to number our days and not our years. In Ephesians 5:16 it says we are to redeem the time for the days are evil.

Nineveh was a town of 600 to 700 thousand people. This is about the size of the Ark-La-Tex area where I live. This revival resulted in repenting inwardly and repenting outwardly. Many of God's people have saved souls and lost lives! Imagine all 6 to 700 thousand people not only getting saved inwardly but living it outwardly. WOW, what a revival!

Wait a minute, before we give Jonah an honorary Doctorate or a plague or put his picture on the front page of THE BAPTIST MAGAZINE may I remind you that Jonah showed up five days later than he was supposed to come. Don't miss this! Everyone who died in those five days went to Hell and they are still burning in Hell. If the whole city got saved five days later then those folks would have gotten saved five days earlier.

The average deaths in the Ark-La-Tex area if 25 per day according to our local paper. If we are similar in population to Nineveh then multiply that 25 times 5 and you will end up with 125. Which means approximately 125 people died and went to Hell because Jonah was five days late! Translate that into our lives.

ADD UP THE DAYS YOU MISSED GOING SOUL WINNING SIMPLY BECAUSE YOU DID NOT FEEL LIKE GOING!

HOW MANY DAYS HAVE YOU MISSED BECAUSE YOU WORKED NEEDLESS HOURS TO BUY NEEDLESS THINGS

HOW MANY DAYS HAVE YOU MISSED BECAUSE OF SITTING IN A WORLDLY CHURCH

HOW MANY DAYS HAVE YOU MISSED BECAUSE YOU WERE OFFENDED AND BITTER

Duty of man

Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

1 John 1:1

Revelation 2:29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches

n the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Psalms 53:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
Psalms 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork
We had a wonderful teaching last night studying in John.My Pastor taught three things that prove God is and always was.1.The change in peoples lives 2.The bible 3. The change in my personal life.I Was reading some verses this morning what a wonderful God to leave us with the bible. My prayer is this morning is that God will use my church tonight to win souls. We have the truth and the truth is what will make us free.
How selfish a person would be if he found the cure for cancer and kept it to himself.
How aweful for a person to walk by a building in flames with the person shouting out save me!and we walk by without helping. No more could Jesus come off the cross and save Himself no more than a car engulfed with flames with a soul crying save me!Alot of folks I will see today they probably wont be yelling save me!The people that I will warn tonight probably dont know they need to be saved.I must warn them which then they must choose to be saved or die and go to hell.
Duet.10:17 For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:
Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
Psalms 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork
Romans 3:3 -4 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

Psalms 10:4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts

Psalms 47:7 For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding

For God is the King of all the earth He is worthy of our singing to sing with words that are from our hearts all hymns ought to be written and dedicated to our king of kings.

3 John 1:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth

Prov.27:11 My son, be wise, and make my heart glad, that I may answer him that reproacheth me.
3 John 1:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth
I had three of my children leave home out of state and start their own families the greatest joy is when my children call me and let me know what was taught in church. When a child is backsliden you still love them but it brings shame and gossip to the families name.
We will never know who is right with God until we get to heaven There are so many false religions that are not saved but on the outside they are all dressed up knocking doors adding to the watch towers daily some of them act better than we do.I cant tell who is right with God no more than I know if an egg is good before it is cracked open,
If I Try to tell who is right I would be a judge when God told us not to judge,
He alone is the true judge,to boast on others sometimes shouldnt be done if we dont have the facts for sure.
My prayer is this morning that Gods people will be where they are supposed to be tonight if their church has a meeting.
Thomas missed out the miracle when they had a meeting in the upper room.
The guest missed out at the wedding that did not serve when Jesus turned the water into wine,I always regret the times I am not where I am supposed to be,

Pray like there is no tomorrow
Let Jesus lead and we follow
live like there is no tomorrow
let go of your possessions give to those who want to borrow
stay out of debt and have less sorrow
love your friends and enemies with forgiveness when words are hard to swallow
It hurts to go through trials but along the way we are blessed when we grow
lets keep looking up Jesus is coming back could be today or it could be tomorrow

A teenager mood swing...

I Have found with my son what he eats affects his attitude I Have to Choose his food wisely. I try to use plenty of whole foods, such as vegetables, fruits, and whole grains as well as lean meats and low-fat dairy products. “These foods are more likely to keep his mood stable than processed foods and foods with added sugar,” After doing research on what is added in some of the foods to preserve them makes me aware of the foods that I want to stay away from.

I Eliminate added sugar and caffeine from his diet. Foods with added sugar are more likely to make HIS blood sugar rise and fall during the day, leading to mood swings. And caffeine can make you feel anxious or nervous and cause his head aches with the energy drinks especially the sugar by not drinking them made a difference after a few weeks,
Vitamins and , some nutrients may be especially beneficial. Researchers have found that omega-3 fatty acids, folate, and vitamin B12 may help fight depression -- and a deficiency of these nutrients may be a risk factor for depression.Omega-3 fatty acids are mostly found in fatty fish, such as salmon, albacore tuna, lake trout, and mackerel. They are also found in tofu, soybeans, canola oil, walnuts, and flaxseed. You can find folate in various beans, green vegetables, beef liver, orange juice, and fortified cereals. Vitamin B12 is found mostly in animal products, such as meats, fish, milk, and eggs.
Im Keeping a food journal just to prove the difference. Different foods and combinations of foods affect people differently. I Am trying to Record everything that he will eat and drink each day and keeping track of his moods.
Eat regular meals has been difficult his father gets home late at night so he eats late and goes to bed with no exercise to burn off the fat which causes the body to work all night when it should be resting.Having meals earlier will keep your blood sugar stable and help prevent mood swings.
I am trying to keep my kitchen stocked with healthy snacks, such as fruits, nuts, yogurt, carrot sticks,, and whole-wheat crackers. This way I’ll have something healthy to eat if he gets a craving in between meals. If I have snacks I usually hide the ones with sugar or he wont eat his meals.

FAITH GRACE HOPE

PROV.16:20 He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he.

PROV.3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
We had a wonderful sunday we had a woman saved baptized and joined the church surely Gods power is working
Acts 2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Titus 2:2 That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.

James 2:5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? ...

James 2:14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? ..

James 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. ..

James 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

James 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? ...

James 2:22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? ...

James 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. ...

James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also
Without Faith its impossible to please God. Be anxious for nothing prayer is the best assurance that God has everything under control.I have gone to God and left the burdens at the cross knowing its going to turn out according to Gods will.My hope and prayer is this morning that God will show me how to exercise my faith so I will be able to trust God more that I may greatly be used to bring honor and glory to His name.

Sunday starting the week with church

Job
32:3 Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.

32:8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
It seems like everytime a person is going through a trial their friends think they know why.
32:9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.
God is the only one that can judge there is only one true judge.
Man looks at the outer But God knows the inner. We see people go to church dressed up modest apparel but inside it doesnt match the outer. We have no right to judge a person also for outward righteousness.
I watch Christians live a life that is like the world go to movie theaters listen to bad music but on Sunday its a different person. My prayer is that I will leave the judging up to God it never surprises me what another Christian is capable of doing.
I must judge myself. The best self examination is looking on the inside that no one else sees.

I Thess. 1 :16 Rejoice evermore.

5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.
5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
5:24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
5:25 Brethren, pray for us.

Romans 12:17 Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

Gods ways are not our ways

This is one of my favorite verses its like Proverbs there is so much wisdom.
If I would take the wisdom from the word of God and not the unbelievers it would save me from a lot of heart aches. My hope and prayer is that God will give me the discernment to know the difference of good and evil.
1:4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Hows your garden?

I Come To
the
Garden Alone

One of my Pastors mothers favorite hymns this song "In The Garden" has
touched many hearts for years.
I have found my very true friend in the garden and on the mountain top. Most of the verses I found Jesus praying was in the garden. Its so peaceful the writer of the song talks about Jesus telling Mary she must go the night is falling,
I have been in the mountains several times when the dark was coming with no flash light hurrying to get out before dark.
I love getting up early in the morning I look up to see what masterpiece God has painted today. It reminds me of Gods ability of art like no other can come close. I was able to get a few pictures of the sun coming up with a beautiful sky and send it to my Mother before she passed away.

Genesis 2:8-10 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. And a river went out of Eden to water the garden;
Most of the time I seek the peace of the garden.
In the King James Version of the bible 59 times, mentioned in the garden
many "gardens" that although mentioned are not pulled up by the word "garden").

in the scripture one of the most touching times in history happened in a garden, Gethsemane.

*Gethsemane garden across the Kidron Valley on the Mount of Olives (Hebrew Har ha-Zetim), a mile-long ridge paralleling the eastern part of Jerusalem, where Jesus is said to have prayed on the night of his arrest before his Crucifixion. The name Gethsemane (Hebrew gat shemanim, "oil press") suggests that the garden was a grove of olive trees in which was located an oil press. Encyclopædia Britannica

Matthew 26
36 Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.
37 And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.
38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.
39 And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
40 And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?
41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.
43 And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy.
44 And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.
45 Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
46 Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me.
47 And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people.

Not once but three times, less than 24 hours before His "Death" Jesus
prayed to Our Father, His Father in a garden,Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.".

. My worse times in my life have been when I couldn't for some reason be in the garden. My most peaceful times have been while in the garden, listening and talking with Our Father.

John 20:15-17
Jesus saith unto her,
Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou?
She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him,
Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou
hast laid him, and I will take him away. Jesus saith unto her, Mary.
She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni;
which is to say, Master.
Jesus saith unto her,
Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

Mary thought Jesus was a gardener it probably means Jesus again was in the garden.

IN THE GARDEN
Words & Music: C. Austin Miles

I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear falling on my ear
The Son of God discloses.

Refrain

And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known.

He speaks, and the sound of His voice,
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,
And the melody that He gave to me
Within my heart is ringing.

Refrain

I’d stay in the garden with Him
Though the night around me be falling,
But He bids me go; through the voice of woe
His voice to me is calling.

Refrain
I thank God for the garden I pray that My walk will be more in the garden that I may run and tell others that He is risen He died the most cruelest death applied the blood for our sins that we can walk with him in the garden I look at the weeds as the unbelievers they need to be pulled out that new life may grow to walk in the garden of a new life that we may be of the ones Jesus went to prepare a place for us.I pray that I will keep looking up so when he comes back I will be found looking up and still praying.

O praise the LORD, all ye nations:

Psalms 117:1 O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.
117:2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD.
Wednesday night service tonight many unspoken prayers will be sent up tonight,We need to thank God for the believers that meet together our nation can get turned around if Gods people will pray.
I Pray for the children that are saved that attend a public school if all Christians pulled out their children from public schools there would be total darkness. There are not too many that can make it through public school and stay right with God,but there are some.
I wonder if there was more Christians in the public school than the unsaved I wonder if they would control the curriculum. Its easy for a Christian to act right in a Christian school than the others.
Please pray for our nation make every day a national day of prayer.

We are a target.....

Lev.6:13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

What becomes the ashes was once the fuel the ashes puts out the fire Everything is going to be alright God is watching over us on His radar.
We might struggle climbing the next level with a target on our back but He that is in me is greater than he that is in the world.
Its no time to quit we are almost there if we get weary in well doing we will fall all the way back to first level and have to climb all over again
we cant stop now the next generation needs us the great cloud of witness needs us.
A truck will keep going on the thin ice in Alaska A car will keep going when pulled out in traffic.
Peter stopped and fell in the water when Jesus said come.
I only have today to strive tomorrow is not here, yesterday is gone,I pray for my loved ones knowing there is a target on their back the devil is aiming at.
Some will forget to put on his whole armour some are weary some are weak I must have a prayer life that will make a difference in my fellow soldiers I Have no time to sleep Jesus said watch and keep looking up most car accidents happen when the driver takes his eyes off the road,I pray that my prayer life will change and pray like there is no tomorrow.
I Have been given my orders If I keep going I will protect the ones around me if I quit many will die like the little boats the big ship takes along.
I must report to headquarters every day and ask what do you have for me today?
I never am used when I fail to report. Many fall when I forget to hold up my leaders arms. What needless pain we often pray all because we did not take it to God.
I sometimes think I can solve things my own way but my ways are not His ways David was looked at from the outside not as God seen him,I am guilty of the same I foget
who God is.I have no right to judge on who God will use and who He wont Gods business is His own the most highest powerful all knowing all loving I am so foolish to worry when trouble comes and I worry about the outcome as long as Im in my Daddys arms no one can harm me unless God allows it He loves me the greatest words that We will ever hear.Jesus loves me this I know for the bible tells me so.I pray that God will put someone in my path today that needs to hear the sweet words Jesus loves you.

We need a vision!

Luke 4:12 Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee.
14:13 But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:
14:14 And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.
14:15 And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.
14:16 Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:
14:17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.
14:18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.
14:19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.
14:20 And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.
14:21 So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.
14:22 And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room.
14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.

My prayer is this morning God will use me to fill Gods house. It bothers me to know there are pews that are empty I dont believe God would put us in a building to keep the pews empty. No more than giving us buses and running it with empty seats,
1 Thessalonians 5:24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it
We have to do it or no one else will God called us.

Monday Turner Maine tonight Bro. Schaap preaching!

train up a child in the way he should go....

This is an excellent chapter on child training if I Could follow the manuel God gave us for daily living I would have a well trained adult.

4:1 Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.
4:2 For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law.
4:3 For I was my father's son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother.
4:4 He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.
4:5 Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.
4:6 Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.
4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
4:8 Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her.
4:9 She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.
4:10 Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many.
4:11 I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths.
4:12 When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble.
4:13 Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.
4:14 Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.
4:15 Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.
4:16 For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall.
4:17 For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.
4:18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
4:19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.
4:20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
4:21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
4:22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
4:24 Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.
4:25 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
4:26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.
4:27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.

Sweet Sunday

I love Sunday I get up and out of habit I start the day off by going to church, its nothing like Monday when people get up and have to go to work.I get to go to church I dont have to I choose to.
Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD

84:1 How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!
84:2 My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.
84:3 Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.
84:4 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.
84:5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.
84:6 Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.
84:7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.
84:8 O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.
84:9 Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.
84:10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
84:12 O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

Why do people suffer?

I was out soulwinning Thursday and one of the questions I had asked to me was why does God allow suffering this verse in Job is one I used as well as 23:10 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold

God didnt make men evil they made themselves evil starting with Adam and Eve.which caused it to be passed down to all men.
1 Peter 4:13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

The sufferings of unsaved men are often used by the Holy Spirit to cause them to realize their needs of salvation and to turn to Christ. The sufferings of Christians causes dependence on God and a more Christ-like character, if they are properly “exercised thereby” (Hebrews 12:11).

Thus, God is loving and merciful even when, “for the present,” He allows trials and sufferings to come in our lives.

“For we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).

Blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

s I Was reading this morning I thought about how God takes care of us He cares about the sparrows. As I was looking out my window this morning I saw a little robin I couldnt help but think how we have such a loving God I enjoyed feeding the little bird I Wonder if God brought her to my window so I would feed her so many times I fail at feeding Jesus sheep the testing God allows in our life to know our hearts to see if we really do love God.
John 21:17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
1:8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
1:9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
1:15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
1:16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
1:20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
1:21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
1:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
1:23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
My hope and prayer is this morning is to love God with all my heart and soul as well as love my neighbor.
God is worthy of all my praise all of my life. There is no God more powerful loving caring all knowing just as the true story of the indian tribe to prove a boy is a man his Dad would walk him out in the woods and tell him he is not allowed to tell others he is sat down on a stump and blind folded he can take off the blind fold when it becomes light out in early morning the test is so frightening to the the boy hearing all kinds of noise through out the night until morning comes taking off the blindfold he realized Daddy was close by all through the night to protect him from all harm we have a heavenly Daddy that is there beside us all through the night all through the storms I Am so blessed to have a heavenly Daddy that cares Who would refuse the love of such a good Daddy?

spake the word of God with boldness.

Thursday I Love Thursday the day I Set aside to meet with our church to bring the gospel to the town of Biddeford,I have been called as a missionary to this field for many years I always was willing to say God here am I send me if I was called to China or anywhere else its all the same in Gods world there is no ladder to climb one job is not greater than another I Know the neighbors there more than in my own neighborhood I Pray for that area more than my neighborhood.
where your treasure is there is your heart also.No other place in the world would I rather be than in Biddeford where God placed me where it pleases Him.
Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
As I Was reading this morning on boldness it reminded me of the teaching my Pastor taught in John 18 last night there are times when I dont want to be bold those are the times when I ask God to forgive me show me the way to follow Him and walk in the Spirit so I can be a witness and die to self daily.
No one can get saved by me but only my mouth as an instrument that God will use to bring the lost to Him.
Please pray as I go out this day that God will greatly use me and our church tonight.
Phillipians 1:20 According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. ...This is my prayer of my life my purpose in life....

Should Christians lend out their belongings?

Matthew 5:42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

I was looking into verses on how a Christian should borrow and found this form below I think its a good idea but I also believe in giving and expecting not to get the item back rather than a root of bitterness.

We must treat our possessions as the communal belongings of the household of faith. When you were baptised into His Body, the Church, (by a spiritual baptism – 1 Cor 12:13) you became married to a million and more people all at once! Blood may be ‘thicker than water’ but ‘spirit is thicker than blood! I love my family of God! We have a family responsibility to look out for one another, especially our household.

DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS AND PURPOSE OF LOAN-OUT:

I agree to borrow the above items beginning at the following time and date:

Date Time

I understand that it is my responsibility to replace the items in the location from which they were
borrowed. I also understand that I am responsible for any damage and repairs to these items
caused during the time they were loaned out, and will make proper restitution .
If I do not return these items at all, I understand that I will be sent a bill for
replacement, with their value to be based on new replacement cost.

"Owe no man anything, but to love one another" (Rom. 13:8).

"The borrower is slave to the lender" (Prov. 22:7).

"He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat; let him do likewise" (Lk. 3:11). Jesus taught that even to our enemies we are to "lend" without expecting anything in return (Lk. 6:34-35).

To "lend" without expecting anything in return is to give. Jesus did not teach that we should lend to those in need. Rather, if we compare scripture with scripture we can see that, in this dispensation, we are to give, not loan, to those with needs.

A Christian with a legitimate immediate need for which he has no funds, instead of turning to the lending institutions of this world, should humble himself and let God provide for him through other Christians. This is clearly part of His plan.

Luke recorded in the book of Acts about the early Church in Jerusalem: "All that believed were together, and had all things common; and sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need" (Acts 2:44-45); "And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that aught of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common...and great grace was upon them all. Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, and laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need" (Acts 4:32-35).

All of the Christians in the early Church who owned lands or houses sold them to provide for the needs of other Christians. How many Christians do you know that would do that today?

Paul said, "I have shown you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how He said, It is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35). Jesus did not teach that it is more blessed to loan than to give.

Paul wrote to the Ephesians, "Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth" (Eph. 4:28). And to the Romans he wrote, "Be kindly affectioned one to another in brotherly love...distributing to the necessity of saints" (Rom. 12:10, 13).

The writer to the Hebrews exhorted them to do good and not to forget to share, "for with such sacrifices God is well pleased" (Heb. 13:16). The local church---not the world system from which we should be separated---provided for qualified widows and orphans (Acts 6:1-5; 1 Tim. 5:9-16).

James wrote, "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction [distress]...." (Jam. 1:27). And, "If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, and one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?" (James 2:15-16).

The apostle John wrote, "But whoso hath this world's good[s], and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth" (1 Jn. 3:17-18).

If time permits a Christian should sell unnecessary household items and many other things rather than borrow money. There should be no regret in having to sell such items to provide for his and his family's needs. Many would discover how much they are attached to the material things of this world and where their treasures really are. Jesus said, "Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also" (Mat. 6:21).

I am guilty of wanting worldly things because of the sin of lust. I pray that God will give me dicernment between the things we need or things we want.

For the Christian who is voluntarily in debt, the first thing you should do is repent and confess to God your sin of covetousness, and receive forgiveness. Then, cut up all your credit cards. Pay off and close the accounts with the financial institutions. Pay cash for all purchases (including gasoline). Sell all mortgaged property that cannot be paid off including home, farm, or business property. God will guide you regarding whether or not you should buy a less-expensive house if you have the cash to pay for it and your remaining debts. pay off the smallest debt first, while making timely payments on any larger debts. If there is not enough cash remaining from the sale of property to pay off all remaining debts, then make as many payments in advance as you can while providing only for the basic needs of you and your family.

What a beautiful promise here in John.

What a beautiful promise here in John.
The world knows no joy like the joy of the Lord.
I love being alone with God .There are people I cant fellowship with and others I cant get along with but when we all get to Heaven just like the lion will lay with the lamb its going to be everyone and everything getting along.I Heard this preacher one day say if you cant get along with people here on earth you wont get along with them in Heaven I Don`t believe this will be the case where we are going to be in His likeness. We are to live peaceably with all men as much as possible that doesn't mean we will all get along now,We strive but people still walk in the flesh some times. The greatest day is coming when I will want to be with people all the time without worrying about the sin nature of people we have to endure.
The lamb has to hide from the lamb but not in Heaven.Just the thought of a child being able to pat a lion like a kitten,

16:1 These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.
16:2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
16:3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.
16:4 But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.
16:5 But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?
16:6 But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.
16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
16:9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
16:14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
16:15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
16:16 A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.
16:17 Then said some of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father?
16:18 They said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little while? we cannot tell what he saith.
16:19 Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?
16:20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
16:21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
16:22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
16:24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
16:25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.
16:26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
16:27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
16:28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
16:29 His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.
16:30 Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.
16:31 Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?
16:32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Gods power

I Was praying for God to show his mighty power about a week or so passed and God showed his power through a tornadon I dont know if God had the storm because of my request but I do know God showed his mighty power,When ever usually in the winter I like going to the sea and watch the tide come in and see how powerful God is,
Some people have seen Gods power making no difference in their faith in God the Egyptians as one of them.
12:7 But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:
12:8 Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
12:9 Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this?
12:10 In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.
12:11 Doth not the ear try words? and the mouth taste his meat?
12:12 With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.
12:13 With him is wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding.
12:14 Behold, he breaketh down, and it cannot be built again: he shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening.
12:15 Behold, he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up: also he sendeth them out, and they overturn the earth.
12:16 With him is strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver are his.
12:17 He leadeth counsellors away spoiled, and maketh the judges fools.
12:18 He looseth the bond of kings, and girdeth their loins with a girdle.
12:19 He leadeth princes away spoiled, and overthroweth the mighty.
12:20 He removeth away the speech of the trusty, and taketh away the understanding of the aged.
12:21 He poureth contempt upon princes, and weakeneth the strength of the mighty.
12:22 He discovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out to light the shadow of death.
12:23 He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them: he enlargeth the nations, and straiteneth them again.
12:24 He taketh away the heart of the chief of the people of the earth, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way.
12:25 They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like a drunken man.
My prayer is to take out time and realize

Hebrews 1:10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands

Sweet Sunday the first day of the week the first fruit

As I was reading Job this morning it reminds me of how powerful and awesome our God is.
He has the power to make and take.I Have lost several children in the womb One died with the cord around his foot and neck.Even though he suffered Its nothing compared to what God has in store Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Job10:8 Thine hands have made me and fashioned me together round about; yet thou dost destroy me.
10:9 Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay; and wilt thou bring me into dust again?
10:10 Hast thou not poured me out as milk, and curdled me like cheese?
10:11 Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinews.
10:12 Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit.
10:13 And these things hast thou hid in thine heart: I know that this is with thee.
10:14 If I sin, then thou markest me, and thou wilt not acquit me from mine iniquity.
10:15 If I be wicked, woe unto me; and if I be righteous, yet will I not lift up my head. I am full of confusion; therefore see thou mine affliction;Rom.8:18

Prayer is the best tool I was given...

Im doing a Sunday School lesson on Prayer for my two and three year old class.
I Pray and ask God to tug on me and remind me when we haven`t talked for a couple of hours.I know Im back sliding if I forget to pray.
I Was a teacher for spelling a few years ago in my church the building was built in the 1800`s we had to close the school down Im praying that God will bring us the money or building to reopen I had free time in between classes and as Moses arms were lifted up the same was happening in my life.I was able to spend time in the church praying it wasn't the church that made this time special it was a special place God and I set an appointment for us to talk it was if we were on a mountain I am so blessed to know I Can pray in any position or any place. When we closed the school the battles in my life went down hill I didnt find another quiet place to meet with God I Stayed home with my children and if you are a Mom you know exactly how its almost impossible to pray alone.Im glad I can still pray all day in any position and any place its not like the mountain top but we still can talk and I still can talk of the wonderful things he does and the mighty power he has.
I Have seven children I raised I am almost at an empty nest My teen age son I Have left asked me Is it going to be hard when I go off to college? My answer back is I Love my son and I will miss him but I have the best time of my years coming up to be alone with my God.It reminds me of my husband when my other son was living at home he got most of the attention because he was the oldest but when he moved out my younger son got so much closer to his Dad.A woman that is not married is closer to God the one married is caring for her husband. What I love is to please my husband and that pleases God.

Job 8:12 Whilst it is yet in his greenness, and not cut down, it withereth before any other herb.
8:13 So are the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite's hope shall perish:

Dying to Self

anonymous poem…

When you are forgotten, neglected, or purposely set at naught, and you don't sting or hurt with the oversight, but your heart is happy being counted worthy to suffer for Christ;

That is dying to self.

When your good is evil spoken of, when your wishes are crossed, your advice disregarded, your opinion ridiculed, and you refuse to let anger rise in your heart or even defend yourself, but take it all in patient, loving silence;

That is dying to self.

When you lovingly and patiently bear any disorder, any irregularity, any annoyance; when you can stand face to face with waste, folly, extravagance, spiritual insensibility, and endure it as Jesus did;

That is dying to self.

When you are content with any food, and offering, any raiment, any climate, any society, any solitude, any interruption by the will of God;

That is dying to self.

When you never care to refer to yourself in conversation or record your own good works or itch after commendation, when you can truly love to be unknown;

That is dying to self.

When you can see your brother prosper and have his needs met, and can honestly rejoice with him in spirit and feel no envy, nor question God, while your own needs are far greater and you are in desperate circumstances;

That is dying to self.

When you can receive correction and reproof from one of less stature than yourself and can humbly submit, inwardly as well as outwardly, finding no rebellion or resentment rising up within your heart;

That is dying to self.

Pray everywhere....

1 Timothy 2

1I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. 7Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.

8I will therefore that men pray everywhere lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

Today, God does not dwell in a building, He dwells in our hearts. If God dwelled in church buildings we would only go in on Wednesdays and Sundays,My husband is a security guide he has a job on Sundays to lock church doors after people leave the church.
People long ago was able to go in any church and pray years ago there was no locked doors. We do not have to meet at a special building or enter a special building to worship God. A church building is not needed for us to meet or worship God.

Acts 17:24-25 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; 25 Neither is worshiped with men's hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
As the veil was torn, the Holy of Holies was exposed. God’s presence was now accessible to all. This is good news to us as believers, because we know that Jesus’ death has atoned for our sins and made us right before God. The torn veil illustrated Jesus’ body broken for us, opening the way for us to come to God. As Jesus cried out “It is finished!” on the cross, He was indeed proclaiming that God’s redemptive plan was now complete. The age of animal offerings was over. The ultimate offering had been sacrificed.
I pray that I will count it a privilege the veil was torn.I must take my prayer time more sincere.God sacrificed so much for me what an awesome God we serve.

Wise men still seek Him. Wise men follow Him

Wise men still seek Him.
If we can seek council from God first we have to wait patiently for an answer. So many times I have taken the wrong path by not going to God first. He is our councilor.Wise men dont always have the answer they sometimes forget to ask God.We cant find without seeking and asking. Proverbs 3:13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
3:14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.
3:15 She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.
3:16 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.
3:17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.
3:18 She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.
3:19 The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.
3:20 By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.
3:21 My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:
3:22 So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck.

Wednesday Yea Christians get together night!

Job 3:21 Which long for death, but it cometh not; and dig for it more than for hid treasures;
3:22 Which rejoice exceedingly, and are glad, when they can find the grave?
Job was so much under distress he did not want to live any longer,
Often times I Know i have been tried so i can come forth as gold its the chipping away that hurts
its intersesting on how everyone thinks they know why job is suffering,God told us we would suffer for Him.I wonder if God is pleased when we do want to go home I Like my children wanting to come home they cant because they have a job to to a spouse to take care of,.One day we will know when our course is finished until then we are called to be a witness,

Is the husband the head of the home?

Job 1:5 And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

Aa I read this verse this morning I wonder if the fathers of today would be more faithful in their churches if they were under this law and followed what Job did?
God doesn't change man is still the head of the house hold he is still the leader and is expected to be the role model for his family.
If that is the case in our family standards should be higher and the hearts wouldn't be broken. We need more men to take the position of leadership back in our families.

Job was tested and heartbroken only because God wanted to try him to prove Jobs love.I would rather know our sufferings are sent from God for our hearts to be tried rather than the chastening of God for our sinful living.
We go out soulwinning every week and the men most of the time out number the women it shows that men are taking their position,God never intended for the womean to be the Spiritual one in the family over the husband. Its not the place of a women to lead,Women are weaker for a reason it was Eve that sinned first.Women have caused more men to fall.A womens Spirit sets the atmosphere for the husband when a man comes home and the women is contentious the whole family is.A husband should want to run to get home after a days work otherwise something is not right,
My hope and prayer is that God will give my husband wisdom to lead that my submission will bring God joy that will give us strength.I would rather submit and obey my husband no matter if he is right or wrong if its not unGodly.
Sarah obeyed Abraham even though Abraham was wrong. In all cases you cant have two leaders.I Wonder how many wives can tell their husbands to curse God?

Make A Joyful noise unto the Lord

A new name written down in glory.....

Prov.16:7 When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
I was reading this verse this morning if only we could do all that is pleasing to God.

As a parent we want our children to do what is pleasing to us if not the child has to pay the consequences

Judges 14:3 Then his father and his mother said unto him, Is there never a woman among the daughters of thy brethren, or among all my people, that thou goest to take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines? And Samson said unto his father, Get her for me; for she pleaseth me well.

I was out last night after church I drove in a cemetery where there was two teen boys I asked them both if they died do you know where you will go? One replied Heaven the other said here in this grave yard.I Reworded the question and the teen that was not saved listened as I gave him the gospel and received Christ.
What a joy to please God.what sadness for the times I let fear dominate to know another soul slipped through my path.Just like the story I read in Esther this morning if I dont please God He will send someone else who will.

Please keep our church in prayer we need help financially to get into a new building,

Sweet Sunday

The bees are in their hives the bird sare in their nest the heathens are at the beach
Christians are at church Its Sunday,A great way to start the week off right attending church...
Luke
11:1 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.
11:2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
11:3 Give us day by day our daily bread.
11:4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

Its not recorded here on asking Him how to preach or how to win souls
if we pray we will receive the power we need to preach win souls and everything else we need to make it through this sinful world.

1 cor.1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
1:11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.
1:12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
We ought to endure much and sacrifice much rather than permit discord and division to prevail into our hearts Martin Luther
Aa in music if the harmony of tones is not complete they are offensive to the cultivated ear so if Christians disagree among them selves they are unacceptable to God.
Cawdray
We our powerless in winnining souls preaching or anything else we do if we have discord and not unity in church.
The devil is trying to break up unity in churches on Sunday. There is nothing to destoy with the people that stayed home on Sunday. We cant get anything done without Gods power.Christ is the head of the church. My prayer is this morning that I will accuse my self of the wrong doing.and keep my ears open this morning as I ask for Gods power among my self and everyone that attends church this morning let their be a great awakening as we invite the Holy Spirit in our midst this morning.let the alters be full let the Holy Spirit examine our Souls that we may walk in the newness of life
Ecc.5:1 Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.
5:2 Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.
