My Bible

This book My Bible God left it for me
today tomorrow forever will be
I must read before my day to start,
I press it dearly to my God given heart
For the good news will never end,
I Have found my very true best friend
Knowing that God gave his only begotten son
I will forever fight a battle that will be won
My Bible that I will hold up high, reads Im free!
My Savior forever , He dying gave it to me.
Though one day I Will be with the silent dead,
No more pain or suffering I Know what lies ahead
That will be my body my soul is living still.
I might not leave a fortune as it reads in my will
But I will leave what I owe just send me a bill
All I have to offer is my very best
Please pass on to others while Im at rest
You`ll find it by my bed post
It kept me out of trouble My bible I love the most

churches that rule well

We have many churches that rule well and we have some that dont I remember when I was younger I was over my aunts and uncles house for the summer my uncle was an Episcopal who ruled a church.I can remember every meal he drank wine not fresh off the vine I was very offended as I watched him thinking how can he rule a church?
I Thought in my mind church people dont drink.

that rule well

1 Timothy 5:17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine

Romans 14:21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak
Proverbs 18:19 A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city: and their contentions are like the bars of a castle

Mark 9:50 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.
1 Timothy 2:2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
Galations 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
5:26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
Alot of churches today are not friendly new people will go to a new church and complain no one talked to them they want to be accepted .
When a new person starts a job the first thing the boss usually will do is introduce everyone.
I Went to a church long ago for the first time as the service ended I was in a hurry A long line was formed to shake the Pastors hand I tried to avoid the long line to leave and the Pastor there stopped shaking hands and would not let me out the door until he shook my hand and said I hope you enjoyed the service I hope you come back soon.I have never forgot his meekness and kindness to show he cared. He served the people he was the ruler of that church. He showed the love of God as he looked in your eyes.
