Wednesday mid week church service

Ecclesiastes 5:1 Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear,...
I Need to prepare my heart and listen to the message tonight what God has our preacher teach tonight.
I am looking forward to the gathering of Christians tonight.Praying one for another I think whoever came up with unsspoken prayer thought about the trouble it could cause to say certain things publicly.I need to spend more time praying for others the devil cleverly seems to hinder Christians from praying one for another.

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it
There is no guarantee to have your child turn out right no more than a soul be witnessed to will be saved.
Our job is to direct.Adam and Eve had a perfect home with a perfect parent if we take the credit when a child turns out right its pride the same way to win souls.Its only by Gods grace.

School days

I love watching children grow physical and spiritual
I have found training children to be good adults serving God is different stages

,I Was telling my teen son in elementary school there was alot of things i never learned that I was pushed ahead and skipping areas I needed,
I have found the same to be true in my childhood and my children s life anything I did not learn as a child God is now making me to fill in the gaps of childhood,We just as well not run from training because God is God and He always is helping us to grow
How exciting it must be for God to watch his children grow from the first step.

1 Corinthians 13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
Even though We are adults physically we still are children in some stages of childhood we missed.

Blessing or curse?

Jer.17:5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
17:6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.
17:7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
17:8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
17:10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
17:11 As the partridge sitteth on eggs, and hatcheth them not; so he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool.
17:12 A glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary.
17:13 O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters.
17:14 Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.

There is always a blessing for following God and always a price to pay for disobedience.A blessing is better than a curse A praise is better than a spanking,

I delight to do thy will,O my God.Psalm 40:8

Friday, September 17, 2010
I delight to do thy will,O my God.Psalm 40:8

As I was reading this morning about the Israelite people having no king they kept asking God to give them a king so they got what they asked for not what they needed.
God chose Saul to be king he was not prideful.He hid when he found out God wanted him for king.
So many times I don`t see as God sees.
Corinthians 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men
Saul like my self tried to do things his own way just before going into battle he requested his soldiers to go get Samuel to pray for them and offer up sacrifices for their sins.Samuel took what seemed like forever to show up so mean while Saul did the praying and offering of sacrifices.
One of the biggest reasons I like to go out with my church before soulwinning is the comfort of knowing our Pastor prayed before going out.
Saul was told by God to lead out his army to fight against the Amalekites.Saul again did not listen to God he did not destroy all the Amalekites and all the animals.
My hope and prayer is that my walk will be in Gods will I need to do what I`m told not what I want.

Wednesday Yea Christians get together night!

Ephesians 1:15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
1:16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
I Love to hear of Christian brothers have this testimony.
My hope and prayers are that I would take the time to pray for others so many troubles would be avoided if I would only take the time to pray.My prayers go up for church services tonight.

Are you a proud parent of an honor roll student?

Proverbs 29:15 The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.

3 John 1:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth

Prov. 27:11 My son, be wise, and make my heart glad, that I may answer him that reproacheth me.

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
I Was reading these verses this morning I wonder if a child turns out wrong if its right to blame the parents which is judging.I wonder if its right to give the parents of a child that looks good on the outside to boast on his parents I think if parents can praise themselves for their child turning out right would be pride. God only can get the glory,
I see many bumper stickers on cars proud parent of a honor roll student I would rather see praise of character than talent.
I had someone tell me they were going to see if the bible is true on blessings if you tithe if it does not work then they will stop giving raising a child could be the same way a parent will raise him right and wonder why the child departed there is little we can do when they are adults but pray and love them unconditionally like God does us. but as a parent we should do what God wants us to do knowing we did right.

Gods manual for marriage

5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
5:21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
5:22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
5:24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
5:28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
5:29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
5:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
5:32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
5:33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

God gives us instructions for marriage if followed we are happier.God wants his children to have joy.God never intended for a couple to live together and not be married.The conscience of many have been seared as they do what is right in their own eyes.
When Jesus asked the woman caught in adultry where are your accusers He also told her to go and sin no more.The world with the welfare system makes it easier for people to live in sin.

Patience

I was a couple of hours in a garage waiting for my car to be fixed today I seem to wonder if there is a reason I had a women sit beside me I didnt want to but gave her a gospel tract after she read it I asked her questions and then her car was ready.When I get to heaven hopefully I will understand what I call wasted time in a car garage God will call it quality time.

Remember 911

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land

2,752 men, women and children who died at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. as we traveled we saw business after business reminding us to pray.

When I think back on that day the verse 1 Thessalonians 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape
comes to mind.
Pearl Harbor was another example.
Why does it take our nation to be in trouble before we look to God? My prayers go out to the families but also we must make every day a national day of prayer,

Who do we blame?

Read the book of Genesis

3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
Who’s To Blame?

Few people willingly take responsibility for their temptations; it’s much easier to blame someone or something else. Passing the buck in this area is nothing new. When God asked Adam why he had eaten from the forbidden tree, he replied:

The man said, "The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me from the tree, and I ate"
(Gen. 3:12).Adam was confronted by God about his sin, he blamed his wife.

The serpent deceived me, and I ate (Gen. 3:13).

God still held Adam and Eve accountable for their sin.
I will be teaching from this chapter tomorrow,I think the problems I most deal with is pride its not the Adam nature to admit our faults.

Run the race....

i Tim.1:4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. 1 Tim. 4:7
Reading the Bible is godly exercise; it takes effort to read the Bible "as is" and to show yourself approved unto God by studying it.

1 Timothy 4:8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

My teen son starting running for exercise he found out how to rule over the flesh.

1 John

Send the book of 1 John Chapter 1 to a loved one.

1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
1:2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
1:4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
What a great chapter we studied this in church last night our talk must agree with our walk 1. conscent 2.respond to condition 3.resign from sin

Wednesday Prayer night yea!

Phill.1:20 According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.
1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
1:22 But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.
1:23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:
1:24 Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.

I find many times when I am weary or not feeling well its better to keep on going until the Holy Spirit is leading. It seems as though the best soulwinning times are the times when I dont want to go and I go.

Pray for the Daye family

Send the book of Proverbs Chapter 1 to a loved one.

1:1 The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel;
1:2 To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
1:3 To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;
1:4 To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.
1:5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
1:6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.
1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
1:8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
1:9 For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck.
1:10 My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.
1:11 If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause:
1:12 Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit:
1:13 We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil:
1:14 Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse:
1:15 My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:
1:16 For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.
1:17 Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.
1:18 And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives.
1:19 So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.
1:20 Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:
1:21 She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying,
1:22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
1:23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
1:24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
1:25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
1:26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
1:27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
1:28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
1:29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:
1:30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
1:31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
1:32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.
1:33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

As I read these verses I think about this 14 year old that was with the wrong crowd so many times teens die early due to the friends they choose.

Friday last day of school.

Exodus 16:32 And Moses said, This [is] the thing which the LORD commandeth, Fill an omer of it to be kept for your generations; that they may see the bread wherewith I have fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt.
I Love teaching children Jesus said they are the greatest,I found a lesson taught will be remembered more by an object lesson far more than verbal

making mention of you...

1 Thess.1:2 We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;
1:3 Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;

I was attending a church special where preachers come together while I was there I met up with people over twenty years ago saved and still serving God I cant help but wonder who will meet together in the final family reunion.I thank God for saving my soul and keeping alot of my friends not ceasing from their work of faith.

Wednesday A day Christians meet together

21:1 After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself.
21:2 There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.
21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.
21:4 But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.
21:5 Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.
21:6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.
21:7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.
21:8 And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes.
21:9 As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.
21:10 Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.
21:11 Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.
21:12 Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.
21:13 Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise.
21:14 This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.
21:15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
21:16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
21:17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
21:18 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdest thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.
21:19 This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.
21:20 Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?
21:21 Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?
21:22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.
21:23 Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?
21:24 This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.
21:25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.
