Church first expression

I was visiting Jeff Owens church in west Virginia it was a blessing to be on vacation and attend a church that preaches the truth. As we arrived there was a parking space just for visitors instead of the stress of looking for a parking spot it was nice to have people put visitors first the church serves the people
My first stop was the nursery we had people instruct
us how to get there we didn't have to look around for help. The ushers were all in the same green jackets
As we arrived at the nursery they had us fill out a form about the child and gave her id making us feel like the baby is important the nursery was clean and the workers were kind
And after it was easy to find the auditorium many people greeted us thanking us for coming to their church.
Pastor Owens had his people take the names of new comers and where they are from and during announcement Jeff Owens would have his people stand and introduce the visitors that makes it easier on people that find it difficult to speak in large groups.
.We sat where ever we wanted too. In some churches that's not the case and sometimes we loose people not letting them feel comfortable.
Pastor Jeff Owens preached a good message on this was the title
after alot got saved and
baptized as we were leaving a family gave us brownies that had
a tag welcome to the church
They also gave us a pen
What do people think the first time they come to our churches across the nation?
churches should serve not be served.
It was a blessing watching what God is doing in another church.

In the garden song

Below are the lyrics from the hymn, "In the Garden:"

I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear falling on my ear
The Son of God discloses
And He walks with me, and He
talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known
He speaks, and the sound of His voice,
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,
And the melody that He gave to me
Within my heart is ringing.

I’d stay in the garden with Him
Though the night around me be falling,
But He bids me go; through the voice of woe
This is s beautiful song but was written by man and that is not written by a pastor or theologian [C. Austin Miles, who wrote the hymn, was a pharmacist.
I Read this song and I wonder why it reads I would stay in the garden with Him though the night around me be falling. The night keeps us from so much.Thank God Jesus is the light.

Just like the song that talks about if Jesus is not lord of everything he is not lord at all As stated in the bible It was God that made JesusKing lord of lords every knee will bow every tongue will confess Jesus Christ is Lord Jesus is Lord
I was taught at church If you go to work and your boss tells you to do a job and you refuse he still your boss,"we don't always obey what God tells us but God still made him lord not man
I do not believe In lordship salvation it's impossible to obey in everything but still one day we will all bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is lord
We need to pray for our churches
That they will use songs In their services that are pleasing to God
The songs that are written today are not all songs that God would have us worship him in our churches
Our fore fathers wrote alot of hymns about Jesus our Lord
Every tongue will confess not just the saved
