Thursday

Please pray for tonight soulwinning!

I heard last night my preacher say, “Your walk talks, and your talk talks, but your walk talks louder than your talk talks.” A double minded situation.I think about people that look up to me and my children that i teach. What tremendous pressure this brings me! Actually, we should all have this “pressure.” While we learn to follow Christ, our children learn from not only our words, but from our life.

My husband was listening to the news this morning and heard how people would go to court and say one thing and on facebook say another what was posted on facebook was held against them in James it talks about this.

James1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

I Love the book of James
James1:19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
1:20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
1:23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
1:24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
