Church first expression

I was visiting Jeff Owens church in west Virginia it was a blessing to be on vacation and attend a church that preaches the truth. As we arrived there was a parking space just for visitors instead of the stress of looking for a parking spot it was nice to have people put visitors first the church serves the people
My first stop was the nursery we had people instruct
us how to get there we didn't have to look around for help. The ushers were all in the same green jackets
As we arrived at the nursery they had us fill out a form about the child and gave her id making us feel like the baby is important the nursery was clean and the workers were kind
And after it was easy to find the auditorium many people greeted us thanking us for coming to their church.
Pastor Owens had his people take the names of new comers and where they are from and during announcement Jeff Owens would have his people stand and introduce the visitors that makes it easier on people that find it difficult to speak in large groups.
.We sat where ever we wanted too. In some churches that's not the case and sometimes we loose people not letting them feel comfortable.
Pastor Jeff Owens preached a good message on this was the title
after alot got saved and
baptized as we were leaving a family gave us brownies that had
a tag welcome to the church
They also gave us a pen
What do people think the first time they come to our churches across the nation?
churches should serve not be served.
It was a blessing watching what God is doing in another church.

In the garden song

Below are the lyrics from the hymn, "In the Garden:"

I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear falling on my ear
The Son of God discloses
And He walks with me, and He
talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known
He speaks, and the sound of His voice,
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,
And the melody that He gave to me
Within my heart is ringing.

I’d stay in the garden with Him
Though the night around me be falling,
But He bids me go; through the voice of woe
This is s beautiful song but was written by man and that is not written by a pastor or theologian [C. Austin Miles, who wrote the hymn, was a pharmacist.
I Read this song and I wonder why it reads I would stay in the garden with Him though the night around me be falling. The night keeps us from so much.Thank God Jesus is the light.

Just like the song that talks about if Jesus is not lord of everything he is not lord at all As stated in the bible It was God that made JesusKing lord of lords every knee will bow every tongue will confess Jesus Christ is Lord Jesus is Lord
I was taught at church If you go to work and your boss tells you to do a job and you refuse he still your boss,"we don't always obey what God tells us but God still made him lord not man
I do not believe In lordship salvation it's impossible to obey in everything but still one day we will all bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is lord
We need to pray for our churches
That they will use songs In their services that are pleasing to God
The songs that are written today are not all songs that God would have us worship him in our churches
Our fore fathers wrote alot of hymns about Jesus our Lord
Every tongue will confess not just the saved

Pray Pray Pray until God says stop not man !

There come times when I have nothing more to tell God. If I were to continue to pray in words, I would have to repeat what I have already said. At such times it is wonderful to say to God, "May I be in Thy presence, Lord? I have nothing more to say to Thee, but I do love to be in Thy presence." ~O. Hallesby
For one to say they have no time for prayer is to say they have no time for God that gave us time.
If couples communicate to God the way they do to their spouse God would have more friends.

Prayer

Prayer does not change God, but it changes him who prays. ~Søren Kierkegaard

No one is a firmer believer in the power of prayer than the devil; not that he practices it, but he suffers from it. ~Guy H. King

Prayer works

I believe our prayers are not answered because we give up before we get up!

My Daddy and me

I believe our prayers are not answered because we give up before we get answered
prayer.
My time with my heavenly Dad
what a wonderful time I had
As I pray morn noon and night
I hope my prayer is Gods delight
For no other place i would rather be
Than on my knees with my daddy and me
The steps of a goodman are ordered by the lord
Let the Holy Spirit and I be of one accord
My time with my heavenly Dad
Its never time wasted when times are good or bad

God is so good!

Is anything too hard for God?

Trust and prayer

Eph.3:[8] Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
[9] And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
[10] To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,
[11] According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
[12] In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
[13] Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
[14] For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
[15] Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
[16] That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
[17] That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
[18] May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
[19] And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
[20] Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
[21] Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Knowing all that was written for our learning Im trusting and praying for many Jericho`s in my life.
Our church is in great need of another location. We need a college in our area. There is nothing too hard for God.

Sunday

I Love Sunday a chance to be with our church family.Alot of people missing at church heading out to Indiana for pastors school. The faithfulness of Gods people keeps it going knowing its not about what everyone else is doing but what we are doing for God.A ship goes down with other little ships we must keep going for the sakes of the next generation. Our country needs prayer as well as our president.God said in his word if my people who are called by my name not the people who are unbelievers.
The great cloud of witness is counting on us they can`t do it.
Its been a wonderful day.

Is it good for a spouse to attend different churches?

Should a married couple go to separate churches?

Hosted by Cute Icons.NET

Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
1cor.7:32 The married woman wants to please her husband
Eph.:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh
Eph.5:23 The husband is the leader of the home.

Luke 11:17
................. and a house divided against a house falleth.

1 Peter 3
1Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;

This is such a common practice of today I believe if a couple is attending different churches the teacings of two Pastors won`t agree

A husband should have the final word but its good for a help meet to pray and express her opinion.

If a man is not saved or right with God its a problem in a home that affects all family members.
