The Secret
One day, one friend asked another,
'How is it that you are always so happy?
You have so much energy,
And you never seem to get down.'
With her eyes smiling, she said,
'I know the Secret!'
'What secret is that?'
To which she replied,
'I'll tell you all about it,
But you have to promise to
Share the Secret with others.'
'The Secret is this:
I have learned there is little I can do
In my life that will make me truly happy.
I must depend on God to make
Me happy and to meet my needs.
When a need arises in my life,
I have to trust God to supply
According to HIS riches.
I have learned most of the time
I don't need half of what I think I do.
He has never let me down.
Since I learned that 'Secret', I am happy.'
The questioner's first thought was,
'That's too simple!'
But upon reflecting over her own life
She recalled how she thought a bigger house
Would make her happy, but it didn't!
She thought a better paying job
Would make her happy, but it hadn't.
When did she realize her greatest happiness?
Sitting on the floor with her grandchildren,
Playing games, eating pizza or reading a story,
A simple gift from God.
Now you know it too!
We can't depend on people to make us happy.
Only GOD in His infinite wisdom can do that.
Trust HIM!
We just have to believe it and do it...
Really trust God!
Do your best; let God do the rest.

Is Easter bunny real?
My Grandaugher was taken to the mall at 3 for her easter pictures her mom explained to her easter bunny is not real.my grandaughter arrives and looking at this lady dressed up she shouts out mom you said he is not real!He is moving.

The Family that prays together stays together
Set aside time each day to pray with your spouse.
My husband and I have found that every night before bed is the best time for us. We ask God to fill us with His Holy Spirit, and I have it posted on my bedroom door. It brings us closer together as we care for each other every day. We think about each other through the day.Thank God for texting and cell phones. It's impossible to fall asleep angry when you've just held hands together in God's presence and praying. I Still hold his hand in public and at home.
Ephesians 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Read Together:
Set aside time each day, or every night, to read the Bible together.
This might also be described as a time of devotions. My family and I began setting aside time each night to read the Bible and pray together my first gift i received from my husband was a plaque that reads the family that prays together stays together . We read to each other, either from the KjV Bible or from a devotional book, and then we spend a few minutes in prayer together.

CRAFT IDEA:
For an Easter Project we fill clean empty jars with Jelly Beans and put the Jelly Bean Prayer on the outside of the jars. This makes a great Easter gift to give to friends, relatives, elderly people, and to make for a Sunday School Project. You can use small baby food jars or huge pickle jars, or any size in between.
Back to school.
I have had a wonderful day back at school. It was such a blessing to see all the children again.
I Got home with Caleb and he fell immediately when he got into the house, his crutches were wet I called the doctors office they told me to bring him in emergency but his sister came over and told me where the pain has subsided it should be fine.
Its been heavy on my heart to pray for a way i can go out Thursday with my church soul winning and invite people to come out for Easter. Caleb is usually with me.I am having a problem to find someone to go with me I get so excited when someone gets saved that I want the person I go with to have joy also but they don’t like it when I say the person I am with Wants to give you the plan of salvation. But for now I have got to find someone to go with me. The dogs didn’t work out people would rather walk on the other side of the street than come by two hound dogs. If only people could understand we got little time left if we have to get them through the roof to see Jesus then lets do it! Mark!2:4 And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay Some of Gods people today would come up with excuses why they cant go, I am scared of height Its family day the roofing materials will be too expensive. With me its usually too tired!
A Few months ago we canceled church on wed. and had it on Thursday I was discouraged but someone thought the RU Program we have is on Thursday i happened to be in the nursery when a lady came in and asked when is RU She didn’t have time to go upstairs to the church service but she listened to the gospel and God used me to witness so she could got saved that night.

My motherinlaw is still in the hospital seems to be quite an infection.
Lost my car
What a day to lose my car raining out and Calebs waiting for me here at walmart getting groceries this time the groceries will be put in the back seat where as the hatch came open last week and my groceries went flying out there was a penny in the way,I Tried picking them up but cars kept running them over i figured i better get out of the road before i get hit.

As I Was reading this morning I Came across this verse Thank God we are no longer under the law. Duet 21:18 If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them:
21:19 Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;
21:20 And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkered.
21:21 And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear.
All our teens would hear fear and disappear!
Then i was reading 22:5 The woman shall not wear that which pertained unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.
I Really dont want to get into this one! My email will be up again, our pastor taught this in Sunday school yesterday and asked if we have a don’t ask don’t tell policy in the service and we already separated the men from the ladies what do you do with the ones that are confused about their gender? If you put them together would that be fair for the men being separated from the women?
It reminds me of a time i went to the goodwill and bought me a black skirt and it had a bump in the front i could not iron it out my husband told me he thought why that was so. I told him that is ridicules that following week we parked in front of the goodwill and i seen this man come out of the store wearing my skirt i could not believe it. Just like my pastors teaching yesterday about his wife in a parachute as i heard preach if its not in their notes don’t listen!
I Heard yesterday they are tring to make it allowed if your child in school dont know what gender he is then he has permission to go into either restroom.
I was in Virginia several years ago my husband and I both had to use the restroom we both ran as we entered his restroom was fine but the ladies had a sign up .
I Was not going to let my husband win
so I moved the sign only to find a man in the ladies room doing constuction.

22:12 Thou shalt make thee fringes upon the four quarters of thy vesture, wherewith thou coverest thyself.
MY Pastor was also saying when his family is dressed coming back from church people notice we are different from the world just like when I see a cub scout you dont have to tell me what group he belongs to besides their is a dress on my ladies restroom.pastor dont usually bring up why a women wears a dress but i will because if i have to wear a dress so should everyone else (ladies)lol

A snake and rabbit
The Rabbit And The Snake: A Fable
Once there was a young rabbit named Bagu. He was both lively and entertaining and spent his days frolicking in the meadows under the warm summer sun.
As the days began to cool and the nights grew chilly, Bagu noticed that he saw less and less of his friends. Then he remembered that he, too, would soon need to find a warm and cozy home where he could spend the long winter months. He poked and burrowed all day only to find that the other animals had already chosen the best places.
Not to worry, thought Bagu, Jake the Jackrabbit will make room for me.
But Jake's burrow was full, so Bagu quickly hopped away to try again.
Not to worry, thought Bagu, Miles Mouse will certainly have an extra room.
But the rooms in Miles' burrow were far too small for Bagu. Try as he might, he simply could not fit. Sadly, Bagu left and sat quivering in the middle of the meadow as a deep blanket of darkness began to envelop the sky. Soon a fine snow began to fall and Bagu's tawny fur glistened with icy crystals.
"What am I do to?" Bagu whimpered. "I will surely freeze to death if I don't find shelter soon."
Unknown to Bagu, a pair of yellow-green eyes had been watching him. Now, having observed his predicament, a voice hissed and slithered across the meadow on the wind.
"Come here, Bagu, I have plenty of room for you."
"Oh, Salim," chattered Bagu, his eyes wide with fright, "thank you for your kindness, but I do not think I should accept your offer."
"But Bagu," insisted the snake, "it is so cold, and you are nearly frozen. If you come in, we can keep each other company, and you will be safe from the storm."
Bagu thought, Not to worry. He is old and I am cold. He only wants some company.
So Bagu slowly hopped into Salim's huge hole and settled down across the room. As a puddle began to form beneath Bagu from the melting snow, Salim suggested that Bagu move closer to him.
"You will be wet and cold over there. Besides, my hearing is not very good anymore, and I will hear you much better."
Not to worry, thought Bagu, as he inched closer to the old snake. I won't have to shout at him any more.
After they had chattered a little more, Salim hissed, "Come closer. If we curl up together, we will surely be warm for the night. You know, I would really like it if you stayed with me until spring."
Still feeling chilled and warmed by the idea of having found a place to stay for the winter, Bagu nestled into Salim's coiled body. Bagu felt Salim's body tighten around him and thought, What a lovely hug between friends!
As Salim's grip grew stronger, Bagu struggled and squeaked, "Salim, stop! You are squeezing the life out of me!"
Salim's tongue slid across Bagu's head as he said, "I know, how else could I have you for dinner?"
A trap
This smiley was taken into what he thought was a beautiful mansion only to find out it was a trap for someones dinner!

Today is one of the days that brings such joy to my heart.My daughter called me to let me know our grandaughter just got saved in sunday school.
Such joy to have one of my children call every week and let me know what was preached except last week she asked me what did your pastor preach on.
she knew i was home with caleb.now i know why her husband calls her a brat.

A Sqirrel back home!
Today in church my pastor taught on the following.
12:1 And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.
12:2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.
12:3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
12:4 And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.
12:5 Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.

He used a story that just happened to him recently on how we should fear God true but we should also trust him.
A Noise was coming from somewhere in his house he got up to go see and he finally figured out it was a squirrel in his chimney playing santa clause his mother tried telling him santa sqiurrels really dont go down the chimneys they are not real he is just on tv) so my pastor looked it up on the web to see how they could get him out and he read about throwing some rope down for the squirrel to climb on. He got to the hardware store and did not have the right rope he seen a gentleman there that he knew who worked in apartments he told him he had a heart trap that he would bring over, when the trap arrived he brought the trap by the chimney come to find out he was not in the chimney he was in the wood stove while he was. Trying to get him the trap went off so he fixed it and the squirrel escaped. With the trap in his hands he was running all around finally he caught him in the reloaded trap with peanuts and water so my pastor sprinkled a little water on him no he is not catholic and the squirrel started drinking. After the squirrel was taken outside he was thrilled to know he was home the squirrel is so much like myself sometimes living in fear thinking he is going to get hurt but God directs our path he knows what is best for us. I Just have to learn to trust him and not lean on my understanding.

Why cant they take off advertisements for alcohol especially when young people are watching sports?

Doug only 30 years old pulled through back at home.just a couple of weeks ago he was in code blue,they had to make a decision whether or not to pull the life support.
Thank God they didnt by Gods grace he is still with us Doug received Christ at my mothers funeral a few years ago.
Why cant they take off advertisements for alcohol especially when young people are watching sports?

Wow, What a day yesterday, I Was excited to be with my sweetheart at the Delorme and I got a call stating my mother-in-law was rushed in the hospital. She had no movement in her legs swelled eyes 104 fever at this moment she is still in the hospital waiting to get better and hoping to find why all is going on.
I`m so excited tomorrow my day with Caleb back at church.yea! Then school.
My sweetheart enjoyed reading this bog yesterday he laughed so many times.
I told you I have a wonderful husband. The last time he read my journal he brought home flowers pizza and a sweet spirit. I Asked him last night if there is anything he wanted me to change he told me no I like it the way it is. Caleb did not Agree
That’s what happens when God gives you a large family you can write a book.

Thank God
Thank God Caleb is on his way to recovery and Pastor and Mrs Wilkins coming over to see him as well as his friends

What a wonderful day
God is too good.I love him so,I got up this morning and more snow its so beautiful.
I Am so excited about tonight Caleb`s first time out of the house except for the doctors appointment.We will be at the delorme tonight and while I am there I Can take some live pictures for this site.
I am hoping God will show me his plan how to witness to souls while caleb is on crutches.My best days of soulwinning was the time I had surgery and had to wear a neck collar people felt i was less threatening.An old friend of mine taught me how to soulwin the best bait she taught me was her grey hair.I recall a time my husband went out soulwinning with me he is a big guy!No one dared to stand up to him I Could get off to a big rabbit trail right here but I have to focus on being a good wife so i will not mention the times he beat up this guy.While my husband watched me witness to this lady he thought that looks easy let me do the next door the same situation a lady was reading a magazine my husband told her here I have something better for you to read!She jumped up so fast out of her rocking chair threw down her magazine(it must of been a bad one!)she began yelling at him who do you think you are?Get out of here!She did not have to tell him twice.another time a lady opened the door and seen this big guy(It was just my sweet husband)and she slammed the door with his fingers still in it.God uses him more at work than anywhere else they call him a preacher and they warn the new workers not to swear around lew.

I Am so excited about tonight Caleb`s first time out of the house except for the doctors appointment.We will be at the delorme tonight and while I am there I Can take some live pictures for this site.
I am hoping God will show me his plan how to witness to souls while caleb is on crutches.My best days of soulwinning was the time I had surgery and had to wear a neck collar people felt i was less threatening.An old friend of mine taught me how to soulwin the best bait she taught me was her grey hair.I recall a time my husband went out soulwinning with me he is a big guy!No one dared to stand up to him I Could get off to a big rabbit trail right here but I have to focus on being a good wife so i will not mention the times he beat up this guy.While my husband watched me witness to this lady he thought that looks easy let me do the next door the same situation a lady was reading a magazine my husband told her here I have something better for you to read!She jumped up so fast out of her rocking chair threw down her magazine(it must of been a bad one!)she began yelling at him who do you think you are?Get out of here!She did not have to tell him twice.another time a lady opened the door and seen this big guy(It was just my sweet husband)and she slammed the door with his fingers still in it.God uses him more at work than anywhere else they call him a preacher and they warn the new workers not to swear around lew.
As I Was reading in Duet.15:6 this morning For the LORD thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign Our nation really needs prayer.I notice here God is speaking to us his people 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.and the following 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.wow!

Game over
Sam and Alicia finally married after Sam forgot his wedding rings and went back home a few miles and his car started on fire he had to get a ride back to the church Thank God it wasnt the Armish living in PA.,Horse and buggy would be alot harder for Sam to explain.They have a wonderful marriage and a sweet boy named Brian.

I Am looking forward to soulwinning today i have been discouraged thinking woe is me i cant go i have no one to go with then it came to me use your stick moses did so now i have 3 dogs to walk and talk to others about the gospel and i have plenty of tracts a dear friend gave me.
as i was reading Eph.3:16 this morning( That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;)
I Noticed the inner man my worse enemy i have to face every day in the mirror.
just because i dont drink,smoke chew or hang with those that do does not mean that i am a perfect Chritian when i got saved i gave up all the things that look bad to you but God sees my inner that wicked old man that still lives inside.(16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel,... for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.)And my biggest problem is (me)i live mostly by habit i am free im no longer bound but my flesh dont see it this way
my car was in the shop and several times i went out to get something from the car and it was not there i look at my wrist and there is not even a watch on it.many habits from my childhood that are not good i still carry to this day.Im praying for God to grow me with the bad habits of the heart so I can help my church and family 2 cor.i read some sins of the heart 4:1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
4:2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
This following Is the big one i struggle with daily.(3:1 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;
3:2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.
3:3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
3:4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
3:5 For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:
3:6 Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.)14:2 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.( peculiar thats for sure)and i read13:3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.wow!
As I did my devotions last night with my family and listened to a sermon not fbc they went off the air until next week i realized i have to get up this morn,and start all over again and it will continue through out the day it would be so much easier if i could put my Jesus on a shelf until next sunday but if i did that to my husband i would not have a good marriage relationship i am so blessed to have a wonderful hard working husband that takes care of me and loves me like he does he promised my mom before she went to heaven that he would take good care of me and he sure does,i love being married.and i love my God.and i cant forget my family friends church and the people i work with at school that i miss so much.
