In the garden song

Below are the lyrics from the hymn, "In the Garden:"

I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear falling on my ear
The Son of God discloses
And He walks with me, and He
talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known
He speaks, and the sound of His voice,
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,
And the melody that He gave to me
Within my heart is ringing.

I’d stay in the garden with Him
Though the night around me be falling,
But He bids me go; through the voice of woe
This is s beautiful song but was written by man and that is not written by a pastor or theologian [C. Austin Miles, who wrote the hymn, was a pharmacist.
I Read this song and I wonder why it reads I would stay in the garden with Him though the night around me be falling. The night keeps us from so much.Thank God Jesus is the light.

Just like the song that talks about if Jesus is not lord of everything he is not lord at all As stated in the bible It was God that made JesusKing lord of lords every knee will bow every tongue will confess Jesus Christ is Lord Jesus is Lord
I was taught at church If you go to work and your boss tells you to do a job and you refuse he still your boss,"we don't always obey what God tells us but God still made him lord not man
I do not believe In lordship salvation it's impossible to obey in everything but still one day we will all bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is lord
We need to pray for our churches
That they will use songs In their services that are pleasing to God
The songs that are written today are not all songs that God would have us worship him in our churches
Our fore fathers wrote alot of hymns about Jesus our Lord
Every tongue will confess not just the saved

  1. If Jesus was not appointed lord then who is?
The bible talks about our lord being crucified
    For you and me.
Lord what will you have me do?
This question should be asked by everyone
