Why should you get saved ?
Every week many people come up with excuses why they don’t want to hear the gospel. Let's look at some of the popular reasons for not hearing the gospel.
Excuse: .No one can know for sure.
Answer: You can know for sure 1John 5;18
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
Excuse” I’m a Catholic!
Answer: God sent his son for all. John 3;16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Excuse: !I have done to much wrong!
Answer: We are all sinners.
If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
1 John 1:10 and also Romans 5:12
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned
:It all started by Adam and Eve which has been passed down through out all generations.
Excuse: I don’t have time to go to church. A person might go to dunkin doughnuts but it does’t make them a dough boy no more than going to church makes you saved. In Ephesians2:9 we read
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Excuse: I am trying to be good!
Answer Jesus paid that price on the cross. Romans 5:8 But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Excuse I have a hard time believing
Answer By faith in Christ we can be saved.
Excuse No one ever told me
Answer You are now being told
Excuse How do you do it?
Answer Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved .HERE IS HOW YOU CALL UPON THE LORD .HERE IS HOW YOU CALL UPON THE LORD Do you admit that you are a sinner? Do you believe Jesus is the Son of God? If you are sorry for your sins and would like for God to save your soul, just ask Him. Dear Jesus,
Please forgive me of my sins. I trust you today, JESUS, and only You, to take me to HEAVEN when I die. Thank you for saving me.
Amen. Just as you were born to your parents, you were born into the Kingdom of God when you called on Jesus!
